My salvation testimony
My name is Lori (Krueger) Sekol, and I was saved at the age of 6. What does that mean? I admitted I was a sinner in need of a Savior. I trusted in the finished work of Jesus Christ who died on Calvary's cross and rose again 3 days later, as payment for my sin. I put my faith in Him alone, not in any works that I have done, for my salvation from eternal punishment.
Maybe you've been religious, or thought you were a pretty good person. I don't doubt you, but those things will never get anyone to heaven. And for those who may not believe there is life after death, I encourage you to consider your purpose in life. The apostle Paul says, if we only have hope in this life (our physical existence on planet Earth), we are of all men, most miserable.
Some verses that I referred to in this video include: John 3:16, Romans 3:10, 3:23; 5:8; 6:23; 10:13; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5. Before you read, pray to God and ask Him to help you understand what you're reading. If you need, find someone who can explain it to you. And more importantly, find others who believe in Jesus and form some friendships that will help you grow in your faith.
